About Debbie / Why Debbie
Built. Sold. Led. Advised. Spoken. Curated. Created. None of those words came from a job description.

Why Debbie
I learned it by building businesses, employing people, making sales, carrying the risk, getting things wrong, rebuilding and doing it again.
My first lessons were in customers, teams and the number at the end of the month. I built and ran salons, then a 7,000 sq ft medi-spa which I later sold. It meant responsibility for people, premises, marketing, operations, customer experience and cashflow. If something didn’t sell, there was no abstract strategy to hide behind.
I also led a dispersed consumer sales team of 45–55 people generating approximately £1.2 million in holiday sales each month. Scale teaches you to see what is really working — and what is merely busy.
Building again
A serious road accident changed the course of my life. I was told my injuries could leave me in a wheelchair by 55. Recovery did not arrive in one dramatic moment. It was a series of steps, repeated until they became a different future.
Years later I cycled approximately 370km across India over five days. That experience became part of my TEDx talk, Impossible to I Am Possible. It still informs how I work: get honest about what is in front of you, recognise what remains possible, then build from there.
Business and life have both taught me to notice value that has become invisible to the person carrying it.
“Debbie brings strategic thinking, commercial realism and calm leadership — not fluff.”
“She taught me to focus on building myself properly so people actually want you, not the other way round.”
